European Energy recorded increased activity in the first half of 2025, with 1.7 GW of renewable projects under construction. The portfolio included wind, solar, green hydrogen and battery storage projects, as well as the divestment of 1,252 MW of assets, including six wind farms in Poland.

Electricity production rose by 4% to 1,063 GWh, reducing emissions by about 255,000 tonnes of CO₂. EBITDA reached €99 million, compared with a loss in the same period last year, while results before tax were €45 million. An extraordinary item from an arbitration case in Italy lowered reported EBITDA to €93 million and results before tax to €36 million.

In Denmark, the Kassø e-methanol facility was completed and has begun delivering green fuels. The company also decided to expand the Måde Green Hydrogen site and progressed work on battery storage. A pilot project is due in 2025, with further capacity planned in the Nordic region, Baltics, UK, Australia and Poland.

European Energy has maintained its 2025 outlook of €200–300 million, though the final result is expected to be influenced by power sales performance and the timing of project sales.
