Nabrawind has received a Design Evaluation Conformity Statement from UL Solutions for its Nabralift 3.MAX tower family, in accordance with the international wind turbine standard IECRE OD-501. Designed to support turbines of up to 8 MW, the 3.MAX towers can reach hub heights of up to 210 metres. The structure has also been certified under the IECRE scheme as maintenance-free.
Using advanced design methodologies and calculation techniques, Nabrawind has demonstrated that the tower’s bolted joints can operate for more than 25 years without retightening. This has been validated through laboratory tests simulating 40 years of operation and monitoring of the first towers in the field. The 3.MAX series includes seven modular configurations built from interchangeable frame sections, all compatible with a shared transition piece.
