Voyis has launched two new services to support users of its Discovery Stereo Vision System: Voyis Academy and Voyis Protect. Voyis Academy is a training programme designed to help users maximise the system’s capabilities.
It covers key topics including system integration, visual simultaneous localisation and mapping (VSLAM)-enabled data acquisition, and the creation of 3D models using photogrammetry software. Training is available both remotely and on-site, combining theoretical instruction with live demonstrations and practical exercises.
Voyis Protect is a maintenance and calibration service that aims to ensure the long-term performance and accuracy of the system. Each cycle includes inspection of optical, mechanical, and electronic components, recalibration using reference targets, and visual and functional testing. The service also includes firmware updates and optional hardware upgrades. A new Certificate of Calibration is issued after each service.
