OEG has secured a contract to support the construction of the Inch Cape Offshore Wind Farm until its expected completion in 2027. The company will provide an integrated package of topside and marine services, including marine coordination, high-voltage operations, and ancillary port services.
These will be managed by a central project team based at OEG’s Edinburgh facility, which includes 24/7 monitoring capability. OEG will operate up to ten vessels: seven guard vessels for round-the-clock site safety and three crew transfer vessels for transporting offshore wind technicians. The company will also supply metocean sensors, navigation buoys, and other support equipment as needed. More than 100 OEG personnel will be involved in delivering the contract.
The 1.1GW project is located in the North Sea, 15 kilometres off the Angus coast, and will feature up to 72 wind turbines and an offshore substation.
