Operations have successfully started at another wind farm developed by VSB in Poland. Located in the Silesian municipality of Pietrowice Wielkie, the Racibórz wind farm is now supplying renewable electricity with a total capacity of 41.6 MW.
The site comprises 13 Nordex N117 turbines, each with an installed capacity of 3.2 MW. In addition to standalone wind and solar projects, VSB is increasingly pursuing hybrid developments in Poland. These combine wind power, photovoltaics and battery storage to enhance grid stability and optimise the yield from renewable energy sources.
