Cadeler has signed a firm contract with Ocean Winds to transport and install 26 Siemens Gamesa 14 MW offshore wind turbines at the BC-Wind project in the Polish Baltic Sea. The agreement follows a Vessel Reservation Agreement signed by the two companies in February 2025.

Once completed, BC-Wind will have a capacity of up to 390 MW. The project is located about 23 kilometres off the coast of the Pomeranian Voivodeship and is Ocean Winds’ first development in Poland.

Installation is scheduled to begin in 2028 and will take around four months. Cadeler will use one of its O-class installation vessels and operate from the Port of Gdańsk.
