Nordex has received an order from Bürgerwind Hollich for a repowering project in North Rhine-Westphalia, Germany. The scope includes the supply and installation of twelve N163/6.X wind turbines on 164-metre hybrid towers and four N149/5.X turbines on 125-metre tubular steel towers.
The project has a total installed capacity of 106.8 MW. The agreement also includes a maintenance contract with a duration of 25 years. Commissioning is planned to begin in spring 2027, with the first turbine expected to start generating electricity.
